Our Maternity Session

Luckily, we were able to get our maternity session in before Baby H arrives! I was a day short of 37 weeks when we had them taken and after a poll on Instagram asking when others had theirs done, it seems I was late to the game! It started to worry me but here I am at 38 weeks to the day and no baby yet!

I did reschedule due to the possibility for rain (and because I had a bad sunburn that my photographer said could be hard to work with), but it worked out because the evening we rescheduled for was beautiful! We traveled a few miles south of home (the town I actually was raised in) and out to a pretty pasture with tall grass and trees – what I had been dreaming of for my maternity shoot!

Anyway, I have probably been annoying people by posting the pictures on my Instagram, so I will drop a bunch here on my blog to show them off. They are absolutely perfect! Shelby, with Shelby Lynn Photography, made me feel so pretty even when pregnancy can sometimes feel like a not-so-pretty time. Lol She also captured how in love Brett and I are with each other & with our son.

Shelby has been there to capture all of our big moments: engagement, wedding, maternity, and soon…newborn pictures!
